Privacy policy

This policy covers the Coach app for Android, made by Infinite Ants ("we"). It says what Coach collects, why, where it goes and how to delete it. For anything here, write to contact@anantdubey.com.
What Coach collects
Your account
Your email address. If you continue with Google, Google also shares your name and profile picture with us.
What you log
Workouts, routines, runs, food, water and notes. Your body details if you add them: weight, height, birth date, sex and body fat. Goals and injuries you tell the coach about.
Location
Coach uses your precise location only while you record a run. It measures the distance and draws the route. Coach doesn't track your location at any other time.
Health Connect
Only if you connect Health Connect, and only the kinds of data you allow. You can change this at any time in Health Connect.
- Coach reads: sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, breathing rate, body and skin temperature, steps, distance, floors, active calories burned, exercise sessions, VO2 max, weight, body fat, nutrition and hydration.
- Coach writes: your workouts, runs with their routes, distance, speed, climb, calories, food and water.
The AI coach
The coach is off until you turn it on. Its chats and food photos stay on your phone. What it learns about you, your check-ins and its plans are saved to your account.
If you report one of the coach's replies, that reply, your message before it and your note are saved to your account. We read reports to make the coach better.
Crash reports
If Coach crashes, a crash report goes to Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service. It says where in the app the crash happened, the app and Android versions, the phone model and a random ID for this install. It holds nothing you logged.
How we use it
Only to run Coach for you. That means saving your logs, showing your progress, working out your recovery score and, with the coach on, coaching you. We don't show ads. We don't sell your data. Coach has no advertising or analytics trackers. Crash reports are used only to fix crashes.
Where it's kept
On your phone, and in your account on our database. The database runs on Supabase, on servers in Mumbai, India. That's what lets you sign in on a new phone and find everything there. Data travels encrypted. Only your account can read its own rows.
Who else sees it
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in.
- Anthropic runs Claude, the AI behind the coach. Only with the coach on, the data you allow goes to Anthropic for each reply. Anthropic handles it under its commercial terms. It doesn't train its models on this data.
- Google handles Continue with Google and receives crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics. Health Connect itself stays on your phone.
Nobody else. We would only share data if the law required it.
Health Connect and Limited Use
Coach's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use it only to provide Coach's features to you. We never use it for advertising, never sell it, and never let anyone read it except as this policy describes.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in the app, from Profile. You're signed out at once and this phone's copy is removed. Everything in your account is deleted within 30 days. You can also ask by email. See Delete your account.
What Coach wrote to Health Connect stays in Health Connect. You can delete it there.
Your choices
- Disconnect Health Connect, or allow less, at any time.
- Turn the coach off. It then sends nothing to Anthropic.
- Back up your data from Profile, in Backup & restore.
Children
Coach is not meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new date. For a big change, we'll tell you in the app.
